The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       Solaris::ndd
  DSLIP:       Rdcro
  description: Interface to Solaris Network Drivers
  userid:      AGOLOMSH (Alexander Golomshtok)
  chapterid:    4 (Operating_System_Interfaces)
  communities:
    SysAdmin Magazine

  similar:
    none

  rationale:

    Solaris::ndd is a Perl extension for interacting with Solaris
    Network Device Driver interface (NDD). This module allows for
    getting and setting tunable parameters that control network stack
    drivers, including IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP and ARP drivers. Currently,
    there is no other perl module that allows for viewing and setting
    NDD tunables programmatically. The module is specific to Solaris OS,
    therefore the high-level namespace qualifier is chosen to be
    'Solaris'. This module may be very useful for the developers of
    custom performance monitoring and administrative tools and is likely
    to be utilized in conjunction with another Solaris module by Alan
    Burlison - Solaris::Kstat.
