Indeed. However, I've been having to reproduce this code in lots of
different jobs, modules, and programs. I reckon it's useful enough to
be on CPAN.

I guess I could extend it to that, and have a subclass that doesn't
slide but instead jumps by that fixed size, but that's extending the
window idea a bit too much, surely.
