I'm working on a "simplified" CPAN.pm that uses LDAP (called CPAN-LDAP.pm
for now) and if all works out well, I propose to submit it to the gods of
CPAN as an additional method of distributing modules (on the CPAN side)
and retrieving modules (on the client side). This is still mostly in
the idea stage.
