Hi Neil, I'm CCing the Perl Module Authors' List to my reply.

What I have mostly done so far is get it to compile and link properly (there was a stray do_chomp() call and other problems), and got the tests to pass. However, on test script fails the first time you run "make test", so I'll have to investigate before I upload it on CPAN. Some plans for the future: 1. Convert the remaining test scripts from Test.pm to Test::More. 2. Get rid of trailing space (maybe add a test). 3. Get rid of "test.pl" - possibly move it both under t/ and under the "examples" sub-directory. 4. See about fixing the bugs on rt.cpan.org. 5. Fix the problem with the first "make test". 6. Make a new release. (Not in any order).
