Regarding older versions, that's true. But to sort out this mess I started with creating very rudimentary tests which meant to ease pressure off of testers who test every possible angle you might think of. I'm working on more structured tests for genpass. Still, I received an email from a tester that the "make test" program returned "No tests defined for genpass extension" which is peculiar to say the least. I reckon it might be because the "make Makefile.PL" had a problem but I did not receive the entire log of the build so I can't be sure. I tried to contact the tester (ICERIDER) but he did not reply so I'm guessing he is busy or maybe doesn't want to (doesn't want to get too many emails, isn't available, any reason at all). I believe both are reasonable and acceptable. He's doing me a favor and I shouldn't take that for granted. But I do need some way to find more information about that error and if I've made a mistake (which I do, of course) - even with the rudimentary tests, I want to be able to fix it. Reading previous posts to the list on this thread, I am no longer in fear of having FAILs on my "record", but it still troubles me that someone had an error. Sorry for the flood of text, and thanks again! Sawyer.
