A while back I took over maintenance of MIME::Lite. I now have some RT bugs that I want to close. Yet despite the factthat I can upload new versions of the module I dont have the rights to close bugs for the module.
Also given that I have experience with taking over a module I note the process is not particularly clean for the person giving the module away.
From the emails I had with Eryq there isnt a straightforward way to say"hand over this module and everything relevent to this author". Given the amount of traffic (that I unfortunately have not had time to review in entirety) on the subject of taking modules over it would seem that this is happening more an more (natural given the maturity of CPAN) and that such a function would be beneficial to all concerned.
Anyway, my immediate issue is to close the bug reports against MIME::Lite. How can I do so?
