Very good idea:-)
But as you wrote such a nice testcase, I also improved CPAN.pm a
little. The next version will say:
Recursive dependency detected:
D/DC/DCONWAY/Parse-RecDescent-1.91.tar.gz
=> Text::Balanced
=> D/DC/DCONWAY/Parse-RecDescent-1.91.tar.gz.
