Well it backs up the NULL memory access..... The debugging moved things around and some pointer which is invalid now happens to be pointing to something that just so happens to not be NUL so it doesn't segfault.

I'm out of town all weekend in Las Vegas....

I'll take a gander at the stack trace when I get back see if anything jumps out at me.
