Hello,

I saw someone asked this question on memcached's list. And I also want to know the answer of it.
Does anyone here have the experience on this item? Thanks.

Yes.

It seems to work fine with a single memcached connection for everything ( instantiated pre-fork ). I haven't tried a post-fork connection like Apache::DBI -- mostly because I'm just using it on the localhost for webserver, so I can't imagine there would be much of a difference ( based on the speed and design of memcached ). I'm sure under some conditions it would be faster.
