mod_proxy_add_forward

Hi
I need the client ip on a backend server.

docs say.
that i need the mod_proxy_add_forward.c module for apache, but i not 
find the module.
the web page http://develooper.com/code/mpaf/ send Forbidden error
Some one can share to me this module?
Or have other ways to obtain the client ip on a backend server 
(mod_proxy -> mod_perl)
