I just installed Fedora core 3, everything. The default Perl install is 5.8.5 and not sure about Apache for httpd -v does not display the version. My question is how do I now install modperl and get it working. Do I have to download another version of Perl and Apache to rebuild? I have never used modperl before let alone install it. Could someone please point me in the right direction. I really want to learn this.
On my FC3 box:
$> yum -y install mod_perl mod_perl-devel $> service httpd restart
Does the trick.
