the mp2 scandal: the bundles solution

I'm writing a summary of like 300 emails, so we don't have to explain the 
issue again and again to each person that joins the threads, or discovers 
the problem.

Meanwhile I've found a solution proposed by Andreas 1.5 years ago, which 
might work as a better workaround from all the ones proposed so far:
