The problem seems to be related to threading (free to wrong pool) on Win32. As can be read from article http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/perl5-porters/2004-01/msg00748.html.

I've set my threads to 1, and the problem seems gone. Of course this is not a solution, since the server now is deadslow.

Anyway it's a hint for some of you to get a real fix, although I've seen many people reporting 'free to wrong pool', and no solutions yet, hope this gets resolved soon.
