Hi all, Now that the 1.24 release is out, perhaps that time has come to begin removing CDMA/EVDO/3GPP2 support for the next release.
I spent some time recently investigating how many active CDMA/EVDO networks still exist. Most usage appears to be with utilities/IoT networks. While many are in the process of evolving to LTE a number of CDMA-based networks still appear to be operational as of 2024. https://450alliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/450Alliance-annual-equipment-update-2024-P-rev.pdf Anyone have thoughts on this?
