Hi, I’m running OpenWrt 22.03.0-rc6 on an Raspberry Pi Model B Rev 2 (bcm27xx/bcm2708). My modem is: Vodafone K5160 (from late 2020)
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 12d1:1f1e Vodafone (Huawei) Vodafone (Huawei) /: Bus 01.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=dwc_otg/1p, 480M |__ Port 1: Dev 2, If 0, Class=, Driver=hub/3p, 480M |__ Port 1: Dev 3, If 0, Class=, Driver=smsc95xx, 480M |__ Port 2: Dev 5, If 1, Class=, Driver=cdc_mbim, 480M |__ Port 2: Dev 5, If 2, Class=, Driver=usb-storage, 480M |__ Port 2: Dev 5, If 0, Class=, Driver=cdc_mbim, 480M |__ Port 3: Dev 4, If 0, Class=, Driver=rtl8192cu, 480M MBIM drivers installed. I wanted to test the new dispacher script for carrier network drop. I figured out in 22.03-rc6 the opkg package https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/22.03.0-rc6/packages/arm_arm1176jzf-s_vfp/packages/modemmanager_1.18.6-1_arm_arm1176jzf-s_vfp.ipk isn‘t updated to MM 1.18.8 already. How can I test MM 1.18.8 on openWrt 22.03 with the dispatcher skripts? Alternate: Is there a way I could build only the package and manually install? Or should I create an issue packages/net/modemmanager at openwrt-22.03 · openwrt/packages · GitHub<https://github.com/openwrt/packages/tree/openwrt-22.03/net/modemmanager> and ask for upgrade / merge from master in the openwrt-22.03 branch? All the work you guys are doing is much appreciated and your best advice with low effort on your end (not wasting your time) would be well received.
