I assume you mean 1.10.x and 1.14.x there. The safest way would be to build an updated ModemManager .deb file locally using the same debian version where you're targeting to install. You'll probably need also updated libqmi and libmbim .deb files. Then, test the upgrade process locally (installing the updated .debs); if the WWAN connection is the only connection that gives you access to the remote system, you want to make sure it works flawlessly before trying in a remote system. Once the .debs are installed in the target system, you would reboot (so that the new MM is launched) and hope for the best :) I don't think you will lose the WWAN connection *during* the upgrade, but better try locally first. -- Aleksander https://aleksander.es
