I had already searched online for the method to clear the SIM
and Modem memory, with no success. Having 'removed' all
the messages in MMgui it confused me why that would not
have erased them from the SIM and modem memory also.
I will search again online for a way to clear the SIM.
I recall contacting Sierra Wireless for this info,
but never got a response. CoVID fault I guess.
If anyone here is familiar with the Sierra Wireless 300U series
and can point me to that process, it would be great...

the memory full is the SMS storage memory.
You simply need to delete some SMSs from the modem or from the SIM.
and I am unable to receive any text either...
What do I need to do to get my SMS working again ?
Modem is a Sierra Wireless 340U with PureTalkUSA
and it worked fine for 8 months, until about a month ago...
I am using modem-manager-gui v0.0.19.1
and ModemManager v0.0.19.1
under Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon v4.4.8, muffin/LightDM
Kernel v5.3.0-62-generic
on an Intel© Core™ i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz × 2 Laptop
with 7.7 GB RAM and 462 GB available on the SSD...
