Hey mobile-firefox-dev. *If you file bugs for Android Activity Stream (AKA Top Sites) or generally triage Firefox for Android bugs, please keep reading!*
We've created a new Firefox for Android Bugzilla component for Activity Stream (called "Activity Stream") and I've been made the triage owner. To help me keep the bugs in order, I have a few guidelines on how to file, and triage, bugs for this component! *When filing new Activity Stream bugs*, please use the "Activity Stream" component. *When triaging newly filed bugs and you find a bug related to Activity Stream*, please move them to the "Activity Stream" component, even if there is a more relevant component for them (e.g. Data Providers could be appropriate for DB changes). *If a bug does not end up in the Activity Stream component, assume I will not see it and thus my team cannot triage it* [1]*.* I can always move bugs out from the component if it's not a perfect fit. If you think a bug you've moved is important enough for Product to see, feel free to add the "triage?" flag. Notes: - The core fennec team does not need to triage the Activity Stream component - In the past, we used the whiteboard tag, "[mobileAS]", to distinguish Activity Stream bugs: this is no longer necessary. Just use the component. - I've moved all *open* Activity Stream bugs to the Activity Stream component. Closed bugs have not been moved because I felt it was a lot of churn for little value. I've left the [mobileAS] whiteboard tag on existing bugs - I'll be triaging the open bugs, in accordance with the bug master's rules <https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugmasters/Process/Triage>, over the next few days Please let me know if you have questions or have suggestions for improvements.
