I know that as part of the move to simplify the release channels the Android Aurora users were being switched to Nightly. However as this as happened the original Nightly updates appear to have stopped. was this by design? I've read around and I'm unable to see anything specifically stating whether or not Android Nightly users are expected to move to the Play Store releases? If that is the case, it's not been clearly communicated. It's been raised in public forum that some users don't use the Play Store, are these users effectively abandoned and if so what is the suggested course of action for said users wishing to continue testing Firefox for Android? Also it should be noted that the current download for Nightly as featured on https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/channel/android/#nightly changed the package name to match that of the Firefox Nightly Play Store listing.
