Yes we have lots of blogs. We talked about this in the iOS engineering meeting today.
We feel that having a simple engineering blog on the Github pages is good because it is less official and lets us do smaller stories that are more engineering / project related. Posts on Medium and the Mozilla Blog are usually of a different caliber. They look more official, have a lot of substance, are usually big stories we want to tell. It is hard to see the difference now, because we only have one article out there. That said, I think the Swift 3.0 Migration story would be a great candidate for a Medium post. In general we want to improve the information flow and be more open about our projects. And talk more about the things we do. That can be a 3 paragraph post about a build system change or it could be longer story about how we developed Firefox Focus. Let's give this some time and see how it goes. We can always move postings between blogs if we feel we need to consolidate. S.
