        I thought changes were made in CVS for the gcc 4.3 issues but maybe
        memory is playing tricks on me

        Maybe someone with gcc 4.3 could test the current CVS version of
        mjpegtools.  If the problem is in y4mdenoise then that's C++ and
        we'll need someone who knows C++ to fix the problem.
