Okay, I tried -a0 and -g 720x576, as root (with sudo), but nothing
changes. I also tried all possible PAL input, same results. I don't know
why, but I even tried with imput auto detection, and here is the output:

$ sudo lavrec -g 768x576 --software-encoding -a0 -d1 -v2 a.avi

With input auto detection the "non MJPEG" card hint appears, otherwise not.

Below is the output from a similar capture command using transcode. It
shows some interesting errors about v4l2, but I cannot interpret them.

Anyway, hope this helps you to help me.

Best regards.
