I am trying to build mjpegtools on a newly built Intel E6750 Core 2 duo machine running Slamd64 (a 64 bit port of Slackware). No matter what CFLAGS I pass to the configure script, it insists that I am running a pentium-m processor, and the compile crashes because it complains that the processor is not 64-bit capable! (Although it has recognised the system as x86_64!) I have tried -march-nocona -mtune=nocona, but mjpegtools completey ignores any parameters passed to it! Help! (I have succeded in building mjpegtools on amd64 machines in the past, but this has me completely stumped!)
