Hallo > I have a dc10+ (of course) and would like to use it as the composite > i/p of the dvb card is not very good I switch between debian and > ubuntu feisty i down loaded the driver from their repository is there > a howto guide to make sure the drivers are installed? the recording > program i am trying to use is xdtv thanks for any help Dave You typically load driver with modprobe as root (if sudo does not work) in a commandline. With: modprobe zr36067
You should typically load the driver. It should detect all the other necessary modules, and load them too. It helps if you list the loaded modules before and after. To see which drivers are loaded. If you want to record you need to take a look at lavrec from the mjpegtools. You find on mjpeg.sf.net a link to the mjpeg-howto there is lavrec described. I'm not soure that xdtv is able to record form a zoran based card. As TV application most users start with xawtv. That program works well with the zoran based cards. auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
