40 euro is about half the money I spent for the CT2, shipping included, so I would avoid buying the converter too, if I could. Also, as I answered to Stephen Shultz, I'm afraid that, if the actual problem is frequency, a converter that output 120V at 50Hz is not the solution, because the adapter from Sima requires 60Hz, not 50Hz.
