Hi, I was making some practice with these wonderful tools under Ubuntu Breezy, and never, I say never had interlace problems (I mean those related to a wrong field order in PAL sources).
On the weekend, I finally upgraded from Breezy to Dapper, and everything is working fine, but not mjpegtools. Very frequently, and yet unpredicatably, lavrec produces those orrible effects. I know, this should not be a problem, because I can fix it afterward with yuvcorrect and such. But yet I wonder if some bugs could be added in the Zoran driver with the last kernel. I don't remember what was the kernel I had on Breezy, but for some problems with partitions I was running one of the very first kernel released for Breezy, not the last one. Did anyone else note the same? Best regards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
