After searching around. I did find the script. I was removed from the
mjpeg CVS by the author, and moved to the digikam project
(http://digikam.sf.net)

If you want to use the last version in the mjpeg CVS you have to look in
the attic directory of the scripts directory
(http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/mjpeg/mjpeg_play/scripts/Attic/)

Hmm, that project lookes a bit unmaintained. I would say that it does
not work with the current version of the mjpegtools. 
If you don't find anything better you should also give "Linux Video
Studio" a try.
