No that's not really a compression (If you are in a marketing division,
that might be different). You might find other compressors like
mjpeg/mpeg1/2/4... in a mov file, so the term is not always wrong. 
Maybe the word codec would fit better.

The output is from a programm from libquicktime, so the libquicktime
developers would need to change the output.
