Hello,
I am interested in capturing my analog material to dv. On this list, the
Canopus ADVC-100 is very often recommended for that purpose. Here in Sweden
it is very hard to get one, and it is extremely expensive (around 500 USD).
Are there any other hard or software solutions for that purpose?
There is Pinnavle Moviebox consumer-capturing solution, which can also
capture analog video to DV. But is seems to have problems with dropped
frames and a/v sync problems. You can also capture using a TV tuner card,
but all encoding needs to be done by software so you need a really fast
machine.
Thank you.
