I also tried SuSE 10.0 with 2.6.13-15-default: Same result Hi, some well known problems with lavrec capturing analog video: lavrec -f a -i P [or p or t] -s -g 720x576 -q 80 -t 36 -U -n 64 software-encoding testvideo_01b.avi results a b/w video only or no pictures at all. Colored movie is not possible. But motv shows a colored movie on composite3 input. So the analog video signal is correctly received. Problem is well known. Ronald S. Bultje proposed a solution in October 2005: [PATCH / 2.6.13.4] fix black/white-only svideo input in vpx3220 decoder 2005-10-15 10:36 He proposes to change some lines in- linux-2.6.13.4/drivers/media/video/vpx3220-old.c Now my problem: I cannot find the vpx3220.c file. I scanned the whole system and found only vpx3220.ko, where I cannot insert the proposed lines.
