Ok - that answers the first part of the question and now I'll chime in with the second part ("if not ... what card should I get") :-) My recommendation, if you're not looking to spend a ton of money, would be a $20 IEEE1394 card (if your motherboard doesn't already have integrated Firewire) and an analog<->DV converter box such as the Canopus ADVC-110. http://www.canopus.com and look around. If you're looking to spend $$$ then let me know - I've no shortage of ideas there either <grin> Cheers, Steven Schultz ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list Mjpeg-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
