Someone here once expressed an interest is such a file, but I was unable to
get broadband access to upload one, so . . .
BBC Radio 4 is currently broadcasting The Quandary Phase of the Hitchhikers
Guide to the Galaxy and has both stereo and 5.1 Surround sound versions
available from their web site.
The following mplayer command will fetch the current episode in 5.1 Surround
sound ASF format:
mplayer -dumpstream mms://wm.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/bb/h2g4_1_au_bb.wma
The file is dumped in the imaginatively named stream.dump, which file will
tell you is a Microsoft ASF file.
Of course this can also be used for just listening to the broadcast as well.
