Wanting to check out the latest release (0.9.5) of the zoran driver on a vanilla kernel (2.6.10) I made this funny observation: Xawtv still can do full color. (S-Video) lavrec still does b/w only (S-Video) But listen to this, here comes the funny part: I fire up xawtv and see a color feed. Then I open up a second shell to fire up lavrec. xawtv is still running. As soon as I hit <Enter> for lavrec, I see the xawtv feed suddenly change from color to b/w! Thus, lavrec changes the xawtv feed! Very weird. Switching to xawtv I have to toggle to composite and back to S-Video the regain a color feed. FWIW.
