I know I have already asked this a couple of months ago but I am really getting desperate here. I'm directly streaming to hard disk from my satellite reciever. In order to burn it to dvd I have do demux, reencode the audio and then remux it.
The problem is that mplex does not recognize the demuxed video stream. It says INFO: [mplex] mplex version 1.6.2 (2.2.3 $Date: 2004/01/13 20:45:26 $) **ERROR: [mplex] File unrecogniseable! **ERROR: [mplex] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting. Mplayer doesn't bother, it plays the stream perfectly. So my only way out so far is reencoding the whole video stream. But this is a noticable loss in quality which I often really do not want. Is there any way to fix such a broken video stream in a clean way? All tools that I know that can do that are Windows only so far. -- Lehmeier Michael <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
