A little correction. It is permitted you just have to play the MPEG-LA a
certain amount of money. Than you are allowed to distribute binary mpeg
encoders.

The sources of the mpeg2enc and mp2enc could be aviable in the suse
source packages. I have never checked that.

I wrote that thing twice to the Suse Distribution support mailinglist.
But never got any feedback, or anything obvious changed. :-/
