Hey Y'all, I recently purchased a Canopus ADVC-300 and I've been tickled pink with the results. I've had nothing but error free perfect captures. Just one thing. How can I play video thru the ADVC-300 to the TV? I have the composite out on the back connected to a TV. What apps can I use to do this? I tried dvconnect -v -s dvgrab-001.dv and it reports "Sent frame ###" for the whole video but I get nothing on the TV. I tried dvconnect -v video.raw to capture and playing that back with dvconnect -v -s but still I get nothing on the TV. I've looked at mplayer -vo option for something but I don't see anything relevant. I tried setting kino -> preferences -> ieee1994 -> dv export -> dv1394 device -> /dev/dv1394 but I can't seem to play to that device. Any suggestions?
