> Yep: y4mscaler. Hmm, good, but not good enough. Maybe I'm just too stupid, but I didn't fully understand how it works. For example I use the following: jpeg2yuv -j v.jpg -f 25 -I p -n 1 | y4mtoppm > picture.ppm ppmtoy4m -Ip -F25:1 picture.ppm | y4mscaler -O sar=pal -O bg=rgb:0,0,0 -O size=704x576 | y4mtoppm > out.ppm v.jpg is 1200x1600. Then I not only get black bars at the sides but also at the top and the bottom that is 22 pixels thick. I don't know where they are from. I tried around a lot with options but never got what I wanted. How do I do it right? PS: Is there a debian package for y4mscaler yet? -- Lehmeier Michael <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. >From Windows to Linux, servers to mobile, InstallShield X is the one installation-authoring solution that does it all.
