The Zoran drivers and the cards that use them - including the DC10+ and DC30 - 
do not support MPEG-2. The Zoran hardware codecs are for MJPEG.

I'm not sure which, if any, hardware MPEG boards are supported.

I'm not even sure that the PCI card that comes with Studio DV 9 has a hardware 
MPEG codec. As far as I can tell from the limited information available 
online, the Studio 9 software does the encoding; the PCI card is just a 
firewire card.
