I am often streaming video from my satellite reciever to my hard disk. Then I demux the file and mplex it back with mplex -f 8 to burn it to DVD.
The problem is that sometimes mplex gives me the following problem: **ERROR: [mplex] File unrecogniseable! INFO: [mplex] File video.m2v looks like an MPEG Video stream. **ERROR: [mplex] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting. Is there any simple way to fix this without having to reencode the whole video? So far I solved the problem by either hacking off the beginning of the video or, when multiple files are involved, concatenating the video segments before multiplex. But this is an ugly way that might break some players and causes sync problems. -- Lehmeier Michael <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
