How about using "CC:" instead of "BCC:"?? There is nothing "secret" about sending a copy to a mailing list (especially since the individual is probably on the list), so no need for a "blind carbon-copy". (Most properly-configured mailers will, by default, CC the list in response to messages received through the list.
