Which LML33 do you have the original LML33 or the LML33R10 ?

The original LML33 has 2 Booktree/Coexant IC for en/decoding the video
and
the LML33R10 has a Philips IC for the decoding, and a Analog Devices for
encoding the video. 

For the lml33 the steps by hand would look like that:
<load the ic2 drivers before>
insmod bt819
insmod bt856
insmod zr36060
insmod zr36067

For the lml33r10 
insmod saa7114 
insmod adv7170
and than like the original version.

But I think that should be done by the module configuration file. Te set
up what is needed and not.

I guess that you don't have loaded the other kernem modules.
