[Mjpeg-users] mplex and dvdauthor problem

Yes, I think there is a good chance that 1.6.2 will fix the problem
 

Sorry, trying to install from RPM to save me the time of installing all 
the -devel packages. I get the errors from

rpm -U mjpegtools-1.6.2-1.i386.rpm

file /usr/lib/liblavfile-1.6.so.0 from install of mjpegtools-1.6.2-1 
conflicts with file from package libmjpegtools1.6-1.6.1-9mdk
       file /usr/lib/liblavjpeg-1.6.so.0 from install of 
mjpegtools-1.6.2-1 conflicts with file from package 
libmjpegtools1.6-1.6.1-9mdk
       file /usr/lib/liblavplay-1.6.so.0 from install of 
mjpegtools-1.6.2-1 conflicts with file from package 
libmjpegtools1.6-1.6.1-9mdk
       file /usr/lib/liblavrec-1.6.so.0 from install of 
mjpegtools-1.6.2-1 conflicts with file from package 
libmjpegtools1.6-1.6.1-9mdk

It is safe to rpm --force this ?
