I did a full CVS checkout from scratch.

1.6.1.90 is still on my system, but i'm sure i used the correct path to
the new mplex.
I only installed mplex out of the CVS version anyway (did a "make" and
then manually copied mplex to the first directory in my $PATH).

I'm using whatever Red Hat 9 provides (gcc-3.2.2-5).
