Hi I have been trying to use mjpeg tools to extract frames from mjpeg movies taken
using my digital camera (Fuji Finepix s602z).

The command I'm using is 'lavtrans -o frames/frame%05d.jpg -f i BBQ.avi'

I get a jpeg file written for every frame, of the right filesize. The problem is
nothing will open the jpegs. The best I can get is this error: Could not open
"frame00003.jpg" because a SOFn, DQT, or DHT JPEG marker is missing before a JPEG SOS
marker.

It seems there is a problem with the jpeg headers, the original video plays fine and I
get the same results for any video I try. Does anyone know what causing this? Is there
any software out there that can fix jpeg headers? I'm really tearing my hair out over
this one as I need to find some way of splitting these video files into indevidual
frames. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Matt

PS I'm using the latest version of mjpegtools and libavcodec.
