Now that I have the drivers compiled, I am yet to get anything working.
I have read through the FAQ included with the drivers, and have installed the text
options zoran card=7 (I have a BUZ. Also I tried 'X7' instead of '7' here.)
alias char-major-81-0 zoran
in /etc/modules.conf
and
'v4l-conf -c /dev/video0'
in rc.local
When I 'modprobe zoran card=7', nothing happens.
If I try to run LinuxVideoStudio 'studio -t', it says '0 adaptors available'.
To keep it simple, I tried running lavrec.
'lavrec -f a -i N record.avi'
I get 'segmentation fault'.
I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
I am running RH9, 2.4.20 kernel, patched with patch-2.4.20-kraxel.
