go to http://www.polyware.nl/~middelink/En/hob-v4l.html#bigphysarea
download http://www.polyware.nl/~middelink/patch/bigphysarea-2.4.20.tar.gz
extract
follow README

make a new subkernelversion directory

go to in your new subkernelversion directory

make clean

patch -p1 < <path>/bigphysarea.diff

make xconfig
go to Processor type and features
     change Math emulation if needed
     change to Y for MTRR
     change to Y for CONFIG_BIGPHYS_AREA

make dep && make bzImage && make modules && make modules_install

reboot with new kernel with kernel param (bigphysarea=nnn nnn=number of page (normally 4K))

recompile unified zoran driver (make clean && make)

reload driver

nothing else I have done
