Hi all,

Newbie question: Can lavtools handle *.avi files captured by MS Moviemaker?

I have the following problem, I counldn't get my nVidia Firewire interface working
with Suse 8.2. So I captured my movie from my Sony MiniDv camcorder with MS
moviemaker. But now I want to edit/convert it under Linux. So I tried to as a first
test to play it with lavplay, but it shows me only a green screen and the following
output:

lavplay -v 2 -p S 2003_07_Sommerurlaub_Kalifornien_1.avi
lavplay1.6.1.90
lavtools version 1.6.1.90

What I'm doing wrong? I would appreciate any help.
