Ya, I have SuSE 7.3 Personal, and it's not in there. However, I installed the 
SourceForge RPM,
and it seems to be working O.K.

I configured and built up to libmovtar-0.1.3. The configure script failed saying that 
I did
not have GLib installed (GTK+)

Did that come in SuSE Pro as well?

Would it be possible for you to e-mail me the SUSE RPMs?  (If they're not to big!)
