It probably is possible to buy just the board but I have not looked into that. The cooling and mounting considerations make the integrated solution desirable. One (possible) problem might the the I/O panel on the back - it could be smaller/different than a standard ATX case and thus not fit. > The fact that it has two PCI slots is tempting, though.
