Which command do you use ?

Have you tried to record the video with streamer ?
The command lookes like that for PAL:
streamer -t 0:30 -s 352x288 -r 25 -o movie.avi -f mjpeg -F stereo

I fear that lavrec doe not like the NTSC Video played back as a PAL. Or
does you VCR really convert the Video to PAL, or is the VCR only doing
something to make the NTSC video playable on a PAL TV ?
